Sheriff of Nottingham \u00e4r ett bluff- och f\u00f6rhandlingsspel d\u00e4r en av spelarna under loppet av en tur antar sig rollen som Sheriffen. De andra spelarna f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker smuggla f\u00f6rbjudna gods in i Nottingham i p\u00e5sar f\u00f6rbi sheriffen. Sheriffen skall d\u00e5 f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka gissa, vilka spelare g\u00f6mmer f\u00f6rbjudna gods i sina p\u00e5sar f\u00f6r att konfiskera dem. Om hen gissar r\u00e4tt m\u00e5ste spelarna i fr\u00e5ga betala b\u00f6ter beroende p\u00e5 vad som finns i p\u00e5sen.<\/p>\n

Om sheriffen r\u00e5kar anklaga en oskyldig spelare och g\u00e5r igenom hens p\u00e5se \u00e4r sheriffen dock tvungen att betala ers\u00e4ttning \u00e5t spelaren i fr\u00e5ga. F\u00f6r att spelarna kan f\u00e5 mera pengar av f\u00f6rbjudna gods ifall de g\u00e5r igenom stadens portar \u00e4r det dock oftast l\u00f6nsamt att ta risker. Efter turen byts sheriffen och spelaren som tidigare varit sheriff blir nu smugglare ist\u00e4llet. I spelets slut f\u00e5r de spelare bonuspengar som s\u00e5lt flest antal av olika lagliga gods. Den spelare som har mest pengar n\u00e4r po\u00e4ngr\u00e4kningen \u00e4r slut vinner spelet.<\/p>\n

The bustling market in Nottingham is filled with goods from all over the kingdom. Most of it is entirely legal, however, Prince John is looking to make sure no contraband gets sold. He\u2019s tasked the Sheriff to inspect Merchant\u2019s wares, looking for any illicit goods. The Sheriff\u2019s shrewd, but not above taking a bribe to look the other way. Which Merchant will end up getting the best goods through and make the largest profits in the market stalls?<\/em><\/p>\n

In Sheriff of Nottingham 2nd Edition, players take turns playing the Sheriff, looking for contraband goods, and the Merchants trying to stock their Stall with the best goods. The Sheriff can inspect any bag they want, but they must be careful, as they\u2019ll have to pay a penalty if they find the Merchants were telling the truth. This new edition includes updated rules, as well as expansions such as the 6th Merchant, Black Market, and Sheriff\u2019s Deputies.<\/em><\/p>\n
